1. Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the Career and Technical Training Department.
2. Monitor and manage all instructors within the CTT Department to ensure full compliance regarding teaching strategies and classroom management.
3. Assist in the preparation of the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures. Review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
4. Ensure classroom observations are completed on a quarterly basis using the MTC classroom observation form.
5. Ensure E TAR’s are updated on a weekly basis.
6. Ensure all sanitation and safety guidelines are followed and adhered to in all CTT classrooms.
7. Ensure all CTT instructors and students have the proper and necessary equipment and supplies to complete all TAR line items.
8. Attend all WC and CRC meetings to ensure Industry compliance.
9. Work with the leadership of all departments to ensure coordination of efforts for all CTT related activities.
10. Provide orientation to CTT programs for new students and staff. Coordinate substitute coverage.
11. Maintain liaison with National Training Contractors (NTC).
12. Monitor job development and placement through CTT instructor referrals. Evaluate CTT instructors’ participation in job development.
13. Monitor all CTT slots to include advanced training and ensure that all training slots are full, to include all Advanced Training CTT offerings as well as basic training.
14. Ensure that appropriate and timely student schedule changes are submitted for accountability and compliance with maximum benefits scheduling. Monitor and assist with the student accountability system as it relates to CTT programs including attendance reporting.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with three years related experience, one of which should be supervisory. Experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
