Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Reports to the director of finance & administration. Responsible for the coordination of the computer network and telephone helpdesk and tracking.
*Assists in maintaining logs for open tickets for computer network repair and problems.
*Assists employee in minor computer network application problems.
*Reports telephone system problems to voice log for repairs.
*Assist center staff with minor troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of center computers.
*Serves as an alternate point of contact for the corporate office and Job Corps Data Center in troubleshooting various computer systems.
*Assists with coordinating outside maintenance contractors for the servicing of center equipment as requested, to include computers, calculators and printers.
*Maintains the department inventory.
*Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
