The IAH Detention Center strives to be a leader in social impact by helping detainees prepare to successfully re-enter society. 

MTC and the IAH Detention Center are seeking a part-time Mental Health Professional who wants to make a true difference in the lives of our detainees. We work hard to reduce recidivism and are seeking somebody who is passionate about doing the same! 

Developing and implementing treatment and therapeutic programs, diagnosis and evaluation testing for detainees, and direct casework are just some of the tools you'll utilize to help each detainee. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling or clinical social work required.  Current Texas practice license (LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW) required. Two (2) years previous work experience preferred.  Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
