Position Summary:
Reports to the supervisor, maintenance. Responsible for duties involving water treatment equipment in compliance with Management and Training Corporation (MTC), Otero County, the United States Marshals Service (USMS), New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) and various customer directives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, technical training and general knowledge of repair/maintenance of water treatment plant and waste water plant, plus three (3) years related experience required and 50 training credit hours or the equivalent as outlined in the State of New Mexico Utility Operator Certification Manual 20.4.4 NMAC dated 014-26-2001 amended 10/17/2001. Valid driver’s license in the State of Texas or New Mexico with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
