On-Call Security Officer - Work as needed$15.75 hourly

Security Officers are responsible for performing guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, fire, flood or similar disaster; doing security checks and searches on students and vehicles entering the center to ensure unauthorized contraband is not brought on center (much like TSA at the airport); responding to disturbances and other emergencies; and/or assisting in investigations and dispatch duties.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred one year related experience OR completion of a security training program OR one year of verified volunteer experience OR one year customer service experience. Also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
