The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for the management of human resources, which includes personnel and benefits administration, recruiting, on-boarding, staff training, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action, in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources management or related field and three (3) years related experience, one (1) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency required.
- Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements, if approved by corporate human resources and regional vice president, corrections.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
