Are you interested working in a school nurse type of environment? We are currently seeking TWO LPNs to join our health and wellness team. We are Hiring at $26.00 an hour with a $5,000 Sign On Bonus! Apply now and we can discuss the opportunity further!
Reports to the wellness director. Performs duties concerned with the prevention of illness and promotion of good health, in compliance with government and management directives. Provides nursing care to our students.
Essential Functions:
- Treat minor injuries and illnesses according to physician instructions as authorized per healthcare guidelines.
- Conduct cursory medical exams during students first 24 hours on center.
- Clean and address wounds, operate emergency equipment, and provide follow up care, as required.
- Prepare and administer specified medication and drugs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment. One year practical nursing experience preferred. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Phlebotomy experience is a plus!
