Description
Reports to the transportation coordinator. Responsible for keeping vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and for operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers and materials, in compliance with government and management directives.STARTS: $18.07 for Non-CDL but you will have to get your CDL in 6 months. That is Class B with bus endorsement or Class A
CDL driver: 21.69 if you have a CDL. Class B with bus indorsement or Class A
Job Duties Include:
- Operate light trucks, buses and passenger vehicles;
- Transport passengers and/or packages
- Ensure adherence to established schedules.
- Maintain vehicles for routing service, clean vehicles, check fluid levels.
- Maintain required driver records and reports.
- Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, brakes, mirrors, steering and other required operating equipment; recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience as licensed driver required.
- General knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement with an acceptable driving record or valid drive
