MTC and the Graceville Correctional Facility are seeking a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with specialists as necessary.
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
Contract: Direct, permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible, pending background approvals (2-4 weeks)
Shift: Days/flexible (5x8 or 4x10)
Education and Experience Requirements:
Completion of an accredited physician’s assistant program and a current license or completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse program and a current license is required. Psychiatric Certification required. Current DEA registration unless state practice regulations permit other prescribing arrangements under supervision also required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be also remain current. Two to five years’ experience is recommended, preferably in the correctional or emergency medicine environment. Valid driver’s license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
