MTC and TCCC are seeking a full-time Mental Health Clinical Coordinator (LMSW-AP, LCSW, LPC) to plan and implement professional mental health services and psychological programs of a non-medical nature.
How your day will look:
1.Develop and implement treatment and therapeutic programs for assigned clients.
2. Assume independent clinical responsibility for all clients including the application of crisis intervention
techniques to include suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior and taking appropriate action
to prevent or diffuse potentially disruptive situations.
3. Conduct diagnosis and evaluation tests for clients to determine needs, establish goals and develop
plans; make referrals to contract professionals for assessment and treatment of clients.
4. Provide direct casework services and individual and group counseling to clients.
5. Prepare progress reports; provide recommendations regarding treatment plans; make case
presentations; and assist administrative and medical staff in development of statistical reports on
assigned clients.
What we offer:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Advance Practice Licensed
Master’s Social Worker (LMSW-AP), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), seven (7) years of clinical
experience and a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience required. Computer skills and evaluative,
counseling skills are also required for this position.
Preferred
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, mental health, counseling or related field, a license or
certification as required by the state of Texas, five years of clinical experience required and minimum of 3
years’ supervisory experience.
