MTC is proud to operate the Otero County Processing Center in Chaparral, NM where we care for up to 1,089 adults. Otero County Processing Center is accredited by the American Correctional Association—achieving compliance for both mandatory and non-mandatory standards.
MTC and the Otero County Processing Center are hiring a full time Mental Health Professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and implement professional mental health service programs of a non-medical nature in the facility
Pay: 50,000– 72,000 DOE
In this role, you will make a difference by:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in counseling or associated field and a license or certification as required by the state of New Mexico. Two (2) years of related experience preferred. Computer skills desired and evaluative and counseling skills are essential. Must hold current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license in the state of New Mexico with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
