The Graceville Correctional Facility located in Graceville, FL., is now hiring career-minded individuals to assist with securing the safety of our communities while making a difference in the lives of those on the inside.

Work schedule: Full-time; 12-hour shift (day & night); 4 days on/2 days off

Job responsibilities: Sergeants responsible for the custody and discipline of inmates in the facility in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives. If assigned to the transportation department, responsible for the transporting of offenders to and from the facility in accordance with established procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years’ experience in an adult correctional environment or related field required. MUST be certified by the state of Florida. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver's license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
