Description

A job with Bluebonnet in corrections medicine provides a unique opportunity not available in community-based medicine.  We afford you the ability to practice your training in a setting conducive to the practice of medicine with an industry-standard formulary, better workload, and varied medical pathologies, some of which you might never have seen in a community or hospital-based practice. This is a hidden opportunity to practice to the fullest of your ability in a structured environment, free of the obstacles that are typically bothersome in the medical profession such as insurance, social and family dynamics and productivity demands. Working at Bluebonnet also gives you the ability to work with an underserved population who is often more appreciative and compliant with treatment recommendations than those we’ve treated outside the facility. Our team members enjoy competitive wages, affordable health, dental, and prescription drug insurance, FREE insurance for hourly staff, education and tuition assistance, paid time off, paid holidays, flexible schedules, 401(k) with company match, and a chance to make a difference every day!
