Job responsibilities: This position will be responsible for providing counseling and mental health services to offenders and implementing complex treatment and discharge plans for offenders with dual diagnosis, social, or mental health issues. Serves as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provides clinical supervision and guidance.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, mental health, substance abuse counseling or associated field and current license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or licensed psychologist.
  • Four (4) years related experience preferred. 
  • Computer skills desired and evaluative and counseling skills are essential. 
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
