Description
Pay: $23.00/hr. for certified officers and $20.00 /hr. for non-certified officers plus a night shift differential - $1.35/hr
Work schedule: Full-time; 12-hour shift (day & night); 4 days on/2 days off

The Graceville Correctional Facility located in Graceville, FL., is now hiring career-minded individuals to assist with securing the safety of our communities while making a difference in the lives of those on the inside.
Essential functions:
- Search for contraband and provide security.
- Count, feed and supervise offenders in housing, work and other areas.
- Provide custody and security of offenders including observation, which includes long periods of sitting and standing.
- Perform security functions; person, property and facility searches. Including “pat” and “strip” searches, which includes squatting and bending.
- Transfer and transport offenders by walking or riding in vehicles. Restrain and secure assaultive offenders, as needed.
Minimum requirements: Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED. A valid driver license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
