MTC and the Otero County Prison Facility are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for our facility in Chaparral, NM. Full-time, long term, career position – we’re looking for just the right fit to join our clinical family!
You will:
- Direct the management of nursing services and supervision of ancillary clinical staff
- Act as clinical resource for staff
- Assign duties and to nursing personnel
- Assure adequate coverage on all shifts
Requirements: Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program and a minimum of three (3) years professional nursing experience with one (1) year supervisory experience. Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of New Mexico or compact state. Must possess current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license in the state of New Mexico or Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
