MTC is proud to operate the North Central Correctional Complex in Marion, Ohio where our employees strive to improve the lives of those in our care through robust educational programming, clinical care, and other resources.

MTC and NCCC are looking for a full time Physician for this ambulatory-like setting in Marion, Ohio. 

Family Practice or Urgent Care physicians would be well-suited to this role.

Will consider out-of-state candidates.

Start Date: As soon as possible pending background approval

Call: Split between physicians and mid-levels (1:3)

Shift: 8 or 10 hour days; Monday-Friday NO WEEKENDS!

Backed by national accrediting organizations, MTC Medical staff are dedicated to providing quality medical and dental services to men and women in our care.

• Ambulatory-like setting
• Safe, clean environment without the hassles of insurance paperwork typical of community and hospital-based practice (safer than most emergency departments)
• Setting conducive to the practice of medicine with an industry standard formulary, manageable patient load, better work hours (M-F with 8 or 10 hour shifts available. No nights/weekends)
• Varied medical pathologies, some of which you might not ever experience in residency, community or hospital practice

Education and Experience Requirements:

Doctor of medicine or osteopathy degree and valid license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio, and current continuing education required by MTC Medical and professional regulatory board. Current DEA and current ACLS certification. Experience in a correctional setting preferred. Valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
