Chronic care to Emergencies and everything, in-between - you will gain valuable experience you would not normally find in one clinical setting.

Location: 805 N Avenue F, Post, TX 79356
Shifts: 2 on 2 off - Day (7a-7p); and Night (7p-7a) - Every other weekend off
Pay: 
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour

  • Attend sick call with the physicians.
  • Assess and triage inmates.
  • Administer, control, and record medications.
  • Urgent care cases as needed.
  • Closely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses

Position Requires:
Reports to the nursing supervisor/RN or health services administrator.  Responsible for providing nursing care and assistance for ill and/or injured persons. High school diploma or GED and current, valid nursing license for the state of Texas or compact state required. Degree in nursing preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess current CPR certification and pass a background check. Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
