What you will be doing
This is a non-exempt position that will report to the maintenance supervisor. Responsible for the completion of a wide variety of tasks and keeping assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition, in compliance with government and management directives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred and one-year related experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
- Maintain and preserve all flooring and/or covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and associated fixtures.
- Wash walls, windows and woodwork; dust desks, bookshelves, cabinets and other office furniture.
- Collect and dispose of all litter, trash in assigned buildings; sweep and clean exterior steps, entrances, landings and sidewalks.
- Supervise students on center work support who are assigned custodial duties.
