What you'll be doing: Responsible for monitoring and directing students engaged in center‑sponsored recreational activities on and off center.
Essential Duties:
- Assist the supervisor, recreation in planning, implementing and coordinating a comprehensive and diversified program which will attract voluntary participation.
- Organize and supervise student participation in a variety of recreation/avocation activities and extended day learning activities.
- Conduct recreation and avocation classes and activities.
- Chaperone students to center recreation functions.
- Assist in the development of the new enrollee recreation activities and plans.
- Conduct intergroup recreation activities as part of the diversity program.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by conducting daily cleaning duties.
- Distribute mail daily to students.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and one-year related experience required. Computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
