Management & Training Corporation is hiring a Line Specialist for our Food Service Department at the Gregory S. Coleman Unit located in Lockhart, Texas. 

Starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Education and Experience requires:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• A valid driver's license.
• One (1) year full-time wage-earning experience in correctional, commercial, or institutional food preparation - OR –
• Food service management experience - OR –
• Eighteen (18) months of correctional custody or law enforcement experience.

Position Summary:

Our Food Service (Line) Specialists are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen area, to include food preparations areas, tool and equipment, and assisting in the service and preparation of facility meals.

Paid Training includes:

Four (4) weeks of pre-service classes to include fifteen (15) days of On-the-Job training.

Post Hire Requirements include:

Must successfully complete a 4 week pre-service security training and annual in-service training requirements to include physical agility testing and pass an annual background check, which must be approved by TDCJ.
