Pay:   Starting at $20.00 with no experience & paid training!


Position Summary:

Reports to the designated sergeant.  Responsible for the custody and discipline of inmates in the facility in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
Non-certified:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of CJBAT (Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test) prior to hire
• Completion of the basic recruit training course for correctional officers required within first year of hire
• Valid driver's license in the state of Florida.
