Wind River Job Corps Center is currently hiring for an Admissions Counselor for our Lakewood, Colorado Office. 
This position pays an hourly rate of $24.40 and a $2,500 Sign On Bonus.

Position Summary:

Successful candidate will report to the Project Director or State Coordinator. Will be responsible for conducting direct recruitment activities and interfacing with other outreach contractors, in compliance with government and management directives.

Other essential functions include:

May develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches; participating in center tours; contact potential enrollees to explore enrollment.

Interview interested candidates and obtain required information; ensuring all documents required to support eligibility are obtained and properly completed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Science, Business, Communications, or closely related field; or Associate's degree and two years related experience required.

-Excellent communication using written and verbal skills is required. Ability to communicate using Spanish is a plus.

-Sales and/or Direct Recruiting experience is a plus

-Computer proficiency is required.

-Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
