Pay: $16.20 per hour

Facility name: IndyPendence Job Corps Center 

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Job responsibilities: Responsible for the management of student records, accountability and date integrity in compliance and adherence to government and management directives.

Essential functions: 

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise the administrative, program auditing and student records systems activities of the department. Trace and communicate O.B.S. to managers and directors upon request
  • Provide staff training, evaluate staff center performance and recommend and implement department and personnel changes as approved by the deputy center director and coordinate with the director, human resources prior to implementation. Provide cross training to staff to provide adequate back-up coverage
  • Develop departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures. Review and recommend changes to budge authorizations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting student records

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Associate's degree and 1 year related experience
  • Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
