SALARY: $40,000.00

Facility name:  Clearfield Job Corps Center

Work schedule: Swing Shift, Days Off Sunday & Monday; 4 pm to 1 am

Job responsibilities: Directly supervises on-call residential advisors. Responsible for assisting in the management of the residential program on assigned shifts and overall shift supervision. 

Essential functions: 

  • Serve as area point of contact for departmental crisis situations and urgent situations such as concerned parental phone calls or visits, significant inappropriate student behaviors, transportation issues, etc.
  • Coordinate transportation requirements for residential activities, and evening activities with other departments, and assist dorm managers in identifying and contacting replacement staff wen needed
  • Monitor administration of all required reports and records for assigned shift; assure that bed checks, morning accountability sheets, logs and other specified documents are delivered to the appropriate departments/ shifts in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies, procedures and programs affecting residential operations; participate in on-going residential living self-assessments 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Associate degree or 1 year supervisory experience in lieu of degree and 1 year experience working with youth 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
