Manager, Facility Maintenance

Salary: $60,000.00

  Ready to be a part of changing lives?  Become the facility maintenance supervisor at the Edison Job Corps Center.
   
• Responsible for the supervision of the maintenance department in compliance with government and management directives, regulations, and laws.
• Plan, coordinate and manage the maintenance department.
• Hire, coach and train maintenance staff.
• Assist with budgets for the department.
• Oversee internal controls, equipment and supplies of the department.
• Review and audit the assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of service to students.
• Perform maintenance and custodial tasks on buildings and equipment.
• Monitor daily performance and productivity of all maintenance staff.
• Respond to all maintenance needs of the center. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and two years experience. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
